Riverwest is an original sans serif typeface that was inspired by vintage font styles found in 19th century maps and posters. It’s unusual characteristics make Riverwest a great typeface for creating antique designs as it’s industrial look captures that old letterpress printed vibe in an instant.

With it’s sharp number set and symbols, Riverwest can help you make beautiful map designs. Create vintage maps of old railroad and shipping routes, or even bring a vintage feel to modern map design!

Named for the time period when the United States expanded west of the Mississippi river, Riverwest captures the look and feel of the 1800’s in a time when trains ruled travel, manufacturing fueled the economy, and the frontier shifted to the Pacific!
